AV Onsite Operations and Events Support Lead
As the AV Onsite Operations and Events Support Lead at Barclays, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of audiovisual operations, technology management, and event support within a corporate enterprise setting. You will lead and guide AV teams toward operational goals while managing workplace collaboration tools and media services including MS Teams, MTR, CVI, and digital signage systems.
You will have hands-on involvement with TV distribution and digital signage platforms such as Brightsign, Tripleplay, Uniguest, Mediastar, and Onelan. Managing live events is a key part of the role, including audio mixer operation, camera control, and AV input matrix management for executive and company-wide gatherings.
You will leverage ServiceNow for incident and change management, hardware asset tracking, and service quality monitoring. Working knowledge of videowall solutions and AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, NEC, Biamp, and Shure is essential, along with intermediate programming and device configuration skills.
The role requires strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to AV systems, effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels, and excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. AV certifications (CTS/CVE/Cisco) and ITIL certification are preferred. Experience designing and implementing end-to-end AV infrastructure is highly valued.
