Unlike most job platforms, GetOppty intentionally avoids collecting personal information for browsing. Here's what we do not collect, store, or process from visitors:

• Employment history or professional profiles

GetOppty offers an optional job alert service. If you choose to subscribe, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you relevant job notifications. This is entirely voluntary — you are never required to provide your email to browse or use the platform.

• Email address — used to deliver job alert notifications to you
• Alert preferences — such as job categories, keywords, or locations you select at sign-up
• Subscription date — recorded for our records and to honour unsubscribe requests

• To send periodic job alert emails matching your preferences
• To manage your subscription and process unsubscribe requests
• We do not sell, share, or disclose your email address to third parties
• We do not use your email for advertising or marketing unrelated to job alerts

GetOppty does not use cookies for user profiling, behavioural targeting, or cross-site tracking. We do not build user profiles, track individual browsing behaviour, or share data with advertising networks.

We may use minimal session cookies strictly for website functionality (such as remembering filter preferences during a single browsing session). These cookies:

• Are temporary and expire when you close your browser

To understand website performance and improve the platform, we collect basic, anonymised analytics data that cannot be used to identify individual users. This may include:

GetOppty does not collect or store personal user data for browsing. Where we do store data — such as email addresses collected for job alert subscriptions — we apply industry-standard security measures to protect it.
