As a Lead Software Engineer for SAP SD/OTC, you will lead end-to-end SAP SD module implementations and upgrades, configuring core components including order-to-cash (O2C), pricing, billing, shipping, and transportation. You will customize SAP SD to meet specific business requirements and translate business process needs into effective SAP SD functionalities.
You will conduct gap analysis and propose optimized solutions, mapping business processes to SAP SD features. Collaboration with other SAP modules such as MM, PP, and FICO for seamless integration is a key part of the role, along with supporting third-party integrations via EDI and IDOC.
Post-implementation support is expected, including resolving SD-related issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring SLA compliance. You will also prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals, and conduct training sessions for users and junior consultants.
The role requires 8–18 years of hands-on SAP SD experience with strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA SD functionalities, expertise in O2C processes, pricing procedures, tax setups, and intercompany processes. Familiarity with ABAP debugging and integration tools is expected. SAP SD certification is preferred.
