About the Role

This role focuses on conducting comprehensive current-state analysis of existing data systems, processes, and frameworks and providing strategic recommendations for the target state. You will participate in data maturity assessments, drive CXO-level conversations, and lead engagements in data governance — establishing policies, procedures, and frameworks covering metadata, master data, data quality, security, and compliance. You will develop future-state data architectures aligned with industry best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data strategies with business objectives. The role requires leveraging cloud technologies such as GCP, Azure, and AWS to guide and implement data strategies in cloud environments. You will provide tools and technology advisory through market scan reports, technology comparison frameworks, and architecture recommendations. A strong BFSI domain background is essential to drive business discussions, identify industry-specific data strategy challenges, and apply regulatory knowledge (BCBS239, Basel III, GDPR) to frame tailored data policies and principles. You will also derive domain-specific use cases for analytics and AI/ML applications, manage and mentor a team of consultants, and contribute to presales and RFI/RFP engagements.
