Scrum Master

Serve as a Scrum Master and agile coach on data-focused projects, implementing and supporting agile principles, practices, and scrum processes across teams. Build high-performing teams by focusing on improving team dynamics, performance, and facilitating continuous improvement. Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize by business value, ensure alignment with objectives, and drive the health of the product backlog. Facilitate all scrum ceremonies and analyse sprint reports, burn-down charts, and velocity metrics to identify areas for improvement. Escalate risks and impediments that could hinder teams from achieving their objectives. Participate in business requirements and functional specification definition, scope management, data analysis, and design in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams. Document detailed business requirements and develop solution design specifications including BRDs, FSDs, and use case specifications. Leverage knowledge of the data lifecycle including ingestion, modelling, BI/reporting, and analytics/ML experiments. Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence for workflow and project management. Understanding of data governance, privacy/compliance, and quality management practices is expected.
