Risk Analytics Lead

Join the ORRO (Operational Risk and Risk Oversight) Automation and Data Analytics team as a Risk Analytics Lead. You will design, develop, and maintain business applications and solutions for the ORRO function within the Risk department. Your objectives include building data analytics that enhance operational risk monitoring, automating current processes for efficiency and control improvements, and supporting ORRO leadership on strategic initiatives and programmes.

You will be responsible for leveraging innovative data analytics and machine learning techniques to drive actionable insights from the bank's data assets. Working closely with key stakeholders across business and technology teams, you will support data-driven decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation. The role involves analysing complex datasets, identifying trends and risks, and translating insights into meaningful business recommendations.

Key expectations include exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques for working with unstructured text data, experience with automation tools such as Python-based web apps, Power Apps, and Power Automate, and extensive knowledge of GitLab and cloud deployment concepts. You should have end-to-end experience on at least two complete data analytics projects from investigation through to productionizing the solution.

Preferred capabilities include a basic understanding of Generative AI tools and concepts, hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks such as Azure OpenAI, building statistical and machine learning models, developing predictive models, executing data extraction strategies from multiple sources, and training end users on data analytics technologies.
