Platform Engineer (DevOps & AI/ML/Gen-AI)

As a Platform Engineer on the Automation Engineering team, you will bring expertise in cloud infrastructure automation, DevOps, scripting, and advanced AI/ML practices. The role focuses on integrating generative AI into automation workflows to enhance operational efficiency and support cloud-first initiatives. You will design cloud automation workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and build scalable frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration across multiple cloud platforms. Key responsibilities include creating service catalog components for platforms like Backstage, integrating generative AI models for automated code generation and validation, and architecting CI/CD pipelines. You will implement generative AI models (RAG, agent-based workflows) for AIOps use cases such as anomaly detection and root cause analysis, develop vector databases using services like Amazon Kendra or OpenSearch, engineer real-time data pipelines, and build MLOps pipelines to deploy and monitor AI models in production. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and research into emerging tools and technologies is also expected.
