This Lead Test Engineer role in Hyderabad involves validating next-generation industrial automation controllers, PLCs, DCS, IO modules, and industrial communication protocols. You will drive improvements in test productivity, work in small self-motivated Agile teams collaborating with Product Owners to derive validation and verification plans, design optimal automated test systems and fixtures, and make technical presentations on architecture and design risks. The role requires expertise in PLC programming languages (Ladder, FBD, SFC), scripting with Python, and Ethernet-based industrial protocols including MODBUS TCP, PROFINET IO, EtherCAT, IEC 61850, DNP3, and IEC 104. Experience with C# and C++ for test automation, along with knowledge of waterfall and Agile project environments, is expected. A minimum of 8-12 years of domain knowledge in industrial automation is required.
