Senior Software Engineer (MERN)

As a Senior Software Engineer (MERN), you will play a crucial role in designing software solutions for new application features using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS. You will interact frequently with client stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements, communicate technical specifications and software strategies to a varied audience, and guide the software engineering team through the coding, testing, and debugging stages.

Your responsibilities include creating and maintaining comprehensive software documentation and diagrams, conducting efficient code reviews, and establishing suitable testing procedures for software quality. You will stay up-to-date on relevant technology trends to maintain the competitiveness of solutions and demonstrate excellence in team management while fostering a positive collaborative work environment.

The ideal candidate brings 5-8 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role focusing on software development and system integration. Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS, Serverless, AWS Lambda, SQS, and SNS is required, along with in-depth knowledge of databases such as MongoDB and AWS DynamoDB. Strong problem-solving abilities, the capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and prior experience in team and project management are essential.
