As a Salesforce Loyalty Cloud Technical Consultant or Senior Technical Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, data-driven loyalty solutions that transform customer engagement and retention strategies. Approximately 70–75% of this role involves hands-on development using Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, declarative tools, and API-based integrations.
You will design, develop, and implement Salesforce Loyalty Management solutions including member profiles and enrollment, points accrual and redemption (earn/burn rules), tier management and progression, promotions, vouchers, benefits, and partner/coalition loyalty use cases. You will customize and extend Loyalty Cloud using Apex, LWC, Flow, and OmniStudio, and build scalable data models for loyalty, commerce, and customer engagement.
On the integration side, you will develop and maintain integrations with commerce platforms, POS systems, partner systems, third-party loyalty engines, Marketing, Data Cloud, and analytics platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures, and async processing. You will act as a technical thought leader, translating business requirements into robust technical designs, guiding customers on best practices, and identifying technical risks with mitigation strategies.
The role also involves following Salesforce Services best practices for development, testing, CI/CD, and release management, mentoring junior developers, contributing to internal accelerators, and staying current with the Salesforce Loyalty Cloud roadmap and Industry Cloud innovations. Travel to customer sites may be required up to 50%.
