As a Tableau Success Architect, you will drive successful outcomes for Salesforce's strategic Signature Success customers by leveraging deep technical expertise in data and analytics. You will serve as the Tableau subject-matter expert within the broader Success Architect organization, covering enterprise architecture concepts, governance, and cross-cloud solutions.
Your responsibilities include engaging directly with customers to evaluate and recommend optimization strategies for their Tableau technical architecture, DevOps practices, performance tuning, and solution design. You will develop discovery and delivery assets tailored to the unique needs of Tableau customers, aligned with the Success Architect engagement catalog.
Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external business partners is essential to this role. You will guide customers through best practices for data preparation, ETL, modeling, and help them navigate optimization and migration paths—including on-premises server to Cloud transitions. You may need to engage with customers across global time zones as required by business needs.
Experience in Tableau server/Cloud administration, architecture, desktop environments, or large-scale deployments is expected, along with the ability to attain Tableau certification.
