About the Role

As a Senior Technical Manager in the Technical Consulting practice, you will lead teams of technical and solution implementors responsible for designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions. You will collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations, and lead technical design sessions that align solutions with business objectives.

You will provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects, manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migrations, and lead code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns. Your responsibilities include maintaining billable utilization targets for your team, enabling team members on the latest Salesforce products and processes, and working with global teams across geographies requiring flexibility in work hours.

The role demands expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite (Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Commerce Clouds), systems architecture, key design patterns, large data volume best practices, and data sharing considerations. You should have strong knowledge of authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth), data integration tools and ETL processes, environment and release management, and deployment methodologies. You will also participate in pre-sales activities such as technical discovery and proof-of-concept development. This is a leader-of-leaders role requiring experience building and growing a practice.
