Data Engineer-Data Platforms

As a Data Engineer specializing in Data Platforms, you will develop applications on Big Data technologies, including API development, combining a strong foundation in traditional application development with modern data engineering practices. You will write and debug complex code while applying knowledge of analytics libraries, open-source Natural Language Processing tools, and statistical and big data computing libraries.

Your responsibilities include designing and implementing Big Data technology solutions to support data-driven business outcomes. You will integrate analytics libraries into solutions and leverage NLP tools and techniques to enhance data platform capabilities. The role involves working with data processing frameworks and building scalable, high-quality solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Preferred experience includes exposure to machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and data visualization techniques. Familiarity with cloud-based Big Data technologies including cloud storage and computing platforms is valuable. Knowledge of NoSQL databases and the ability to design scalable data storage solutions is also beneficial. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
