About the Role

As an Assistant Manager in the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team at KPMG Delivery Network India, you will conduct end-to-end financial due diligence on transactions. Responsibilities include performing in-depth analysis of financial information such as trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows, as well as identifying key issues and carrying out relevant financial analysis. You will write sections of FDD and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) reports, highlight unusual trends, and frame questions for target management. You will undertake smaller assignments independently or assist on larger engagements reporting to Associate Directors or Directors. The role requires interacting directly with client or target management and reviewing data books prepared to firm and professional standards. You will also review work performed by subordinates, coach junior team members, and establish strong professional relationships with onshore teams. Additionally, you will support proposals and business development activities. The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence within a professional services firm or similar environment, with strong analytical, strategic, and commercial advisory skills along with project and team management exposure.
