AM (AAS UAE)

As an Assistant Manager in the Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) team supporting UAE engagements, you will lead a team of consultants and associate consultants to execute projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients. Your core responsibilities include summarizing and analyzing financial information such as trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. You will independently handle small to medium-sized assignments and support larger ones under the guidance of Managers or Senior Managers. The role involves providing technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support, including guidance on implementing new accounting standards. You will assist with SEC regulatory filings related to spin-offs, carve-outs, IPOs, debt offerings, and cross-border acquisition filings. Additionally, you will provide GAAP-to-IFRS conversion services, support transaction-oriented accounting for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex financing structures, revenue recognition, and leases. Building strong relationships with onshore stakeholders through regular communication, reviewing subordinates' work, coaching team members, and preparing accounting whitepapers are also key aspects of this role.
