Compliance GRM- Assistant Manager

This Assistant Manager role within the Centralized Monitoring Team supports KPMG's Global Risk Management & Monitoring Group (GRMM) under Global Quality and Risk Management (GQRM). You will lead a small team of 2-3 members, executing day-to-day compliance monitoring activities, conducting thorough controls and compliance reviews, and identifying gaps in member firm compliance. You will engage with KPMG Member Firms globally for follow-up discussions on queries and observations. The role involves performing detailed data analysis on complex Excel datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights that support compliance reviews. You will use Risk and Control matrices to review control documentation and testing documentation, identify control failures, and discuss findings with senior leadership. Training and coaching junior team members, reviewing their work for quality, and maintaining accurate documentation are core responsibilities. You are expected to stay current with firm methodologies such as SoQM, GQCR, and CEAC, become an SME on selected topics, and propose process enhancements through automation and AI tools. Flexible working hours are required to collaborate with US-based teams across time zones. This is a non-client-facing role with no travel.
