Senior - Accounting Advisory New
This role involves summarizing and analyzing financial information including trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows. You will be responsible for drafting financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Ind-AS, and Local GAAP standards.
You will provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising, financial structures, complex financial instruments, revenue recognition, and leases. The role also includes assisting with regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPOs), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions.
A core responsibility is delivering technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards. You will prepare and present accounting whitepapers, provide GAAP conversion services, and support proposals and business development efforts.
You are expected to establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through regular meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification with post-qualification experience in IFRS, US GAAP, or Ind-AS.
