Manager

This is a Manager-level position within the US State and Local Tax (SALT) practice, focused on Asset Management or Corporate tax. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations ranging from Fortune 100 companies to emerging businesses. Key responsibilities include advising clients on a variety of tax issues such as accounting for income taxes, FTA (periods, methods & credits), tax provisions, business restructuring, and tax controversy. You will manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope, acting as the primary point of contact, and manage teams of tax professionals on client projects. The role involves overseeing complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects, managing engagement workflow, team resources, and billing. You will advise onshore teams and be responsible for delivering high-quality tax service, maintain a sound understanding of engagement financial performance, and collaborate with other professionals to identify marketplace opportunities and grow the tax practice. A strong knowledge of ASC 740 is required.
