Senior Application Engineer I

This Senior Application Engineer role supports the North America inside sales network from Chennai and focuses on providing independent engineering support for control valves and regulators for project and MRO-related enquiries. You will use FisherFirst2 (FF2) software to perform sizing and selection of control valves and prepare technical and commercial quotations including deviation lists, reports, and drawings. The role involves independently handling quote-to-commit processes, managing severe service applications, conducting Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) meetings with customers, and troubleshooting site issues. Additional responsibilities include checking and mentoring less experienced engineers on MIB-strategy-based quotations, monitoring RDSL/PDSL and RFT performance metrics, and supporting order entry after purchase order issuance. Strong knowledge of Fisher products, accessories, and competitor/inactive products is expected.
