Data Analyst I

This Data Analyst role in Chennai supports the Lifecycle Services (LCS) team within Emerson''s MEA world area by managing Install Base (IB) data for valves and related Final Control products. You will collect, collate, validate, and source Install Base data from site walkdowns, repair reports, and shipment records, and maintain an active database with up-to-date valve information, modifications, and obsolescence replacement data. Responsibilities include generating standard spare parts lists (RSPPL), capturing insights from repair reports, uploading IB data to walkdown tools, transforming historical paper-based records into searchable digital archives, and integrating tools to streamline workflows. Strong Excel skills including PivotTables and Power Query are essential. Working knowledge of Power BI, experience with data cleansing and validation, and familiarity with Business Process Improvement (BPI) methodologies are strong advantages.
