This field sales role for Emerson''s Branson Business Unit is based in Chennai and covers Tamil Nadu, AP/Telangana, and surrounding remote industrial clusters. You will be responsible for driving sales of Branson plastic joining technologies (ultrasonic, vibration welding), precision cleaning, metal welding, clean vibration, laser welding, IR, pulse staking, and other emerging joining technologies. Key responsibilities include identifying new OEM, Tier-1/2, and end-customer accounts, conducting market competition analysis, developing short and long-term sales strategies, and managing customer relationships to meet or exceed territorial targets. The role requires extensive travel (approximately 70%), hands-on installation and trial experience, delivering customer presentations and training, and managing CRM updates and payment collections. Networking across medical devices, electronics, EV, FMCG, packaging, and semiconductor industries is strongly preferred.
