This Design Engineer role in Chennai is part of Emerson''s Pervasive Sensing team and focuses on creating customer and quote drawings using SolidWorks CAD software. You will generate 3D CAD models, assemblies, and Level 2/3/4 drawings, revise drawings per customer requirements, create hook-up blocks for actuators and instruments, and prepare Bills of Materials. The role also involves creating and storing missing hookups in the database for future use, supporting outline drawing generation using the ADCI in-house tool, and maintaining documents in SolidWorks PDM. A minimum of 2 years of CAD modeling experience with basic SolidWorks knowledge is required, and experience with SolidWorks Macros is an advantage.
