Product Order Engineer I

This Product Order Engineer role in Chennai is part of the Order Engineering team at Emerson''s FCEC and involves reviewing incoming customer orders commercially and technically according to established guidelines for Emerson Flow Control products. You will check specification sheet requirements against OEDI/II and product bulletins, verify option compatibility, create and update product structures for required constructions, and raise Internal Order Requisitions (IORs) to factories. Key responsibilities include assuming the role of Order Engineering Coordinator for large project orders, interacting with sales and local business partners on technical queries, providing ad hoc checker support for less complex projects, and contributing to departmental targets to reduce lead times and order engineering backlog. A degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering is preferred.
