Venafi Subject Matter Expert

This senior SME role leads the strategy, architecture, and operational excellence of an enterprise Machine Identity Management program using the Venafi Trust Protection Platform (TPP). You will design and scale Venafi TPP and TLS Protect Cloud architecture, develop automated workflows for certificate issuance, renewal, and installation using Venafi APIs and orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins. Responsibilities include defining PKI policy trees, managing integrations with internal and external Certificate Authorities, collaborating with DevOps and cloud teams to embed Venafi into CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments, and serving as the highest technical escalation point for PKI and SSL/TLS issues. Strategic roadmapping for emerging areas such as post-quantum cryptography is also expected.
