Data Quality Engineer

Join the Cards Platform team as a Data Quality Engineer where you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and integrity of data across high-volume ETL pipelines. You will debug, test, and validate ETL processes, implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks, and identify and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies.

Your core responsibilities include designing and executing comprehensive API testing strategies for both REST and SOAP services, building automated test frameworks for data validation and API testing, and developing regression test suites integrated with continuous integration pipelines. You will perform root cause analysis for data quality issues and collaborate closely with data engineers to improve pipeline reliability.

You will monitor data quality KPIs, generate quality reports, create and maintain test documentation, and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions. Proficiency in ETL tools such as Abinitio, Informatica, Talend, or Apache Airflow is required, along with strong SQL skills across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured, automation frameworks such as Selenium or pytest, and scripting in Python, Java, or Scala is expected. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data warehousing concepts, big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop), and data governance frameworks is preferred.
