As a Release Train Engineer at Barclays, you will serve as the servant leader and coach for an Agile Release Train (ART), facilitating program-level processes and execution across multiple agile teams. You will be responsible for coordinating PI (Program Increment) planning events, managing dependencies and risks across teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery timelines. The role involves driving continuous improvement through inspect-and-adapt workshops, tracking program-level metrics, and removing impediments that hinder team productivity. You will work closely with Product Management, System Architects, and Scrum Masters to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery. Additionally, you will foster a culture of collaboration and transparency, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure that release processes are efficient and compliant with organizational standards.
