Solution Architect- AVP

As a Solution Architect at the AVP level at Barclays, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end technology solutions that address complex business challenges within the banking and financial services domain. You will evaluate existing systems, define target-state architectures, and create detailed solution blueprints that ensure scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to align technical strategies with organizational goals. You will provide technical leadership by reviewing designs, establishing architectural standards, and guiding development teams on best practices. Additionally, you will assess emerging technologies, recommend appropriate platforms and frameworks, and drive the modernization of legacy systems through cloud adoption and microservices-based architectures.
