Records Management - AVP
As a Records Management AVP at Barclays, you will develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations. You will lead a team performing complex tasks and be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Key responsibilities include monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance across the organization, identifying and addressing data and records management risks and gaps, and developing a records management programme ensuring proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval, and disposal of records. You will implement automation strategies and solutions to streamline records management processes, lead governance forums, and develop a data governance strategy aligned with the bank's overall data management and business objectives. You will provide group-wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements. The role also involves influencing stakeholders effectively, working with large data sets and inventories, and managing project delivery using tools such as Jira and Confluence. You will generate metrics and reports using Excel and Tableau to drive decision-making and compliance.
