Security Analyst
Join Barclays as a Security Analyst within the Chief Information Security Office, supporting the Chief Risk Officer in implementing and maintaining the bank's risk management framework across business units. You will be responsible for implementing risk management policies, standards, procedures, and controls, as well as reviewing, challenging, and monitoring the effectiveness of existing risk practices and identifying areas for improvement. The role involves identifying new and emerging risks, performing likelihood and impact analysis, and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies. You will maintain risk inventories and governance documentation, and manage associated committees and forums. Strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting structured datasets and producing high-quality reports and governance outputs. Advanced Excel capability including Power Query, PivotTables, and formulas is required, along with knowledge of VBA or similar automation techniques. Experience with Power Apps or low-code solutions for building digital forms, workflows, and governance trackers is highly valued. You will work effectively across functions and interact with stakeholders at various levels.
