Security Analyst
Join Barclays as a Security Analyst within the Chief Information Security Office, providing support to the Chief Risk Officer in ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of the bank's risk management framework. You will implement risk management policies, standards, and controls across the organization, promote risk awareness and a strong risk culture, and review and monitor existing risk management practices to identify gaps and recommend improvements. Key duties include identifying new and emerging risks, assessing their likelihood and impact, and recommending mitigation strategies. You will maintain risk inventories and governance documentation, and manage associated committees and forums. The role requires a solid understanding of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, risk policies, and control expectations. Strong analytical skills are needed to interpret datasets and produce governance reports. Proficiency in Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, formulas) and knowledge of VBA or automation techniques for streamlining governance activities are essential. Experience with Power Apps or low-code platforms to build workflows, trackers, and process automation tools is a plus. You must be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple deliverables with accuracy and quality.
