AVP - PC Prime Equities
As an AVP in the Product Control Prime Equities team at Barclays, you will oversee the financial aspects of trading activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank's trading book while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities include reconciling daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure they reflect true economic value. You will analyze valuation models, calculate various fair value adjustments, and support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks. The role involves maintaining and analyzing trading data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, providing performance insights to traders and senior colleagues. You will prepare and submit regulatory reports, support external audits, and communicate complex financial information effectively to traders, risk professionals, and stakeholders. You will also lead a team performing complex tasks, set objectives, coach employees, and collaborate closely with other business functions.
