Tech Risk & Control Analyst
As a Tech Risk & Control Analyst at Barclays, you will assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework to support risk mitigation and protection of operational, financial, and reputational risk. You will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, assessing the design and operating effectiveness of technology controls. Your role involves analyzing and responding to internal and external events related to Technology and Cyber risks, emerging threats, identified vulnerabilities, and regulatory actions. You will leverage IT risk frameworks such as COBIT5, COSO, and NIST, and use industry-wide GRC tools for risk management and remediation. Responsibilities also include reviewing audit findings, self-identified issues, and breaches to align them with operational risk, regulatory requirements, and Barclays' Control Framework. You will advise IT teams on pragmatic approaches to meeting regulatory-mandated technology controls and risk reduction. This is a global role requiring flexibility to work across various time zones and the ability to challenge effectively at all organizational levels on underlying risk management.
