Procurement Ops - Assistant Manager
Join Barclays as a Procurement Ops Assistant Manager where you will front-end the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for internal and external stakeholders. You will act as a subject matter expert, championing and driving P2P compliance and best practices across the Bank.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide guidance on procurement processes and deliver procurement process training. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting various business areas with processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution, as well as collaborating with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
You will identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks, and prepare reports and presentations on operational performance for senior stakeholders. The role also involves leading and supervising a team, guiding professional development, and coordinating team resources.
The ideal candidate holds a graduation in Finance or equivalent, has hands-on experience with Accounts Payable processes and procurement systems such as Coupa, SAP, and Process Unity, and possesses strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of the end-to-end Procure to Pay cycle. Experience in a global organization and strong stakeholder management skills are highly valued.
