Senior Manager, Software Engineering New
As a Senior Engineering Manager on the Trailhead team, you will lead a distributed team of front-end and full-stack engineers building the next generation of Salesforce's digital learning platform. You will drive the strategic pivot from a Ruby on Rails and React stack deployed on Heroku toward Salesforce's Lightning Web Components (LWC) to create a seamless learning experience, while maintaining platform stability and performance.
You will be at the forefront of integrating agentic learning and micro-learning directly into the flow of work within Slack, making skill development autonomous and instantaneous. The role involves championing and driving the adoption of Agentic Engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools across the team to increase delivery speed and code quality. You will manage daily standups as Scrum Master, ensure clear priorities and adequate resources, and drive execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Design, Product, and Marketing.
Your leadership responsibilities include recruiting, nurturing, and retaining top engineering talent, providing technical guidance and career mentoring, and fostering a culture of transparent communication, high-quality code reviews, and continuous feedback. You will participate in cross-functional coordination and planning, influence and communicate the product vision to key stakeholders, and help transform the platform that equips leaders with skills for an AI-driven world.
