As an Agentforce Forward Deployed Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI-powered and Salesforce-native solutions to solve complex enterprise customer challenges. You will work directly with customers to implement intelligent automation, agentic workflows, and scalable integrations using the Agentforce platform and broader Salesforce ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing intelligent agents using Agentforce (prompts, topics, actions, orchestration workflows, AI-driven automations), implementing sophisticated integration patterns between Salesforce and enterprise systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures, and building high-performance applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
You will develop complex automation leveraging Flow orchestration, Platform Events, Data Cloud, and AI-driven processes, while optimizing solutions for large data volumes, governor limits, and enterprise workloads. The role also involves implementing automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring production stability, troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and technical coaching.
Candidates must have advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, Lightning Flows, and JavaScript, deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture including data modeling and security, proven expertise in enterprise integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL, real-time sync), and experience with Agentforce implementation including agent security, guardrails, deployment, and testing. Salesforce certifications in Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud Consultant, and Platform Developer II are required.
