Salesforce is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead a team of senior Account Executives focused on the Retail and Consumer Goods (RCG) industry. You will be responsible for pitching all Salesforce products and services, driving year-on-year revenue growth by expanding the existing customer base while also developing strategies to acquire new customers.
Key responsibilities include positioning the team for sustained growth beyond current targets, defining clear annual plans, and driving a culture of strong execution. You will manage AEs to close both strategic/complex deals and regular run-rate opportunities. Cross-functional engagement with Sales Engineering, Partner Alliances, Services, and Employee Success teams is essential.
The role requires translating business objectives into specific goals, identifying new opportunities in industry verticals, and leveraging internal and external C-level resources to build a compelling vision for enterprise customers. You will oversee the full sales cycle from demand generation and sales campaigns through to forecasting, business reviews, and tracking results on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
You will also be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and developing new account executives, building a high-performance team committed to long-term sustainable success. Experience managing and growing Retail & Consumer Goods customer accounts is critical, along with the ability to develop and execute multi-solution sales strategies and build strong C-level relationships.
