Territory Account Executive - Retail & Consumer Goods New
Salesforce is looking for a Territory Account Executive to drive strategic, enterprise-wide sales initiatives within a territory of mid-market and transformational accounts in the Retail & Consumer Goods vertical. You will manage a blend of existing clients with expansion opportunities and new prospects, handling the entire sales process from territory identification through to deal closure.
Your responsibilities include formalizing a go-to-market territory strategy, building a qualified target account list within 30 days, and developing pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, and market research. You will position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, business-case definition, value analysis, and analyst data to engage prospect organizations effectively.
You will lead end-to-end sales cycles by engaging appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners. Accurate daily CRM updates, monthly forecasting, and consistent revenue delivery are expected. The role requires generating short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective for overall revenue growth.
Ideal candidates have successfully sold into mid-market and digital-native companies, with experience in Retail and Consumer Goods being a strong advantage. Strong strategic account planning, C-level selling capabilities across both IT and business units, and technical competence are essential for success in this role.
