Product Security Principal- AI Automation New
This role is a hands-on principal engineering position focused on building AI-driven automation and agentic systems to augment offensive security and security research workflows. You will lead the development of advanced, orchestrated, multi-step AI-assisted automation that can reason over complex inputs, coordinate multiple actions, and continuously improve through feedback loops.
You will drive the architecture of agent coordination, task planning, execution, and control mechanisms ensuring predictable and safe operations. Core responsibilities include personally contributing to automation design, orchestration layers, prompting strategies, tool interfaces, and execution logic. You will design agent-based automation capable of reasoning over large data sources, planning multi-step actions, grounding on real-world data, and adapting behavior based on results.
Establishing human-in-the-loop control points to balance autonomy with expert oversight is critical, along with maintaining high engineering standards around safety, testing, and change control. You will define feedback loops to improve signal quality, prioritization, and decision-making over time, and partner closely with security experts to ensure automation aligns with real operational needs.
The ideal candidate brings 13+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, hands-on experience with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and deep understanding of agentic architecture including task decomposition, tool usage, MCP development, state management, and memory strategies. Background in security engineering or offensive security is preferred.
