Senior Accessibility Engineer New
As a Senior Accessibility Engineer on the Product Accessibility team, you will collaborate with leadership to accelerate the development of accessible products and services across the enterprise. You will serve as a subject matter expert, mentor, and evangelist for creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences. Your responsibilities include partnering with product management, designers, and developers to embed accessibility best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. You will review designs to ensure accessibility is incorporated before development begins, assist developers in addressing accessibility challenges by delivering specifications and functional prototypes that meet web accessibility standards. You will conduct manual and automated accessibility reviews, diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and help teams leverage automated testing tools while interpreting results and identifying false positives. Additionally, you will collaborate with the accessibility automation engineering team to expand validation rulesets, pilot new testing frameworks, and deliver training. You will ensure products are regularly audited, help prioritize fixes, and facilitate collaboration across disciplines and geographies.
