Strategic Account Executive - BFSI New
As a Strategic Account Executive for the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) vertical at Salesforce, you will drive enterprise-wide sales initiatives targeting some of the largest companies in India. Your territory will include a mix of existing clients with expansion opportunities and new prospects within the banking and financial services sector.
You will be responsible for exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions into enterprise accounts. This includes managing the entire sales process end-to-end with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition while also growing existing accounts. Within the first 30 days, you will identify and research your territory, formalize a go-to-market strategy, and build a qualified target account list.
Day-to-day responsibilities involve pipeline development through cold calling, email campaigns, and leveraging market sector expertise. You will engage with prospect organizations using strategic value-based selling, build business cases, conduct value analyses, and lead engagements by coordinating with Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners. Accurate pipeline management, monthly forecasting, and daily CRM updates are essential.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of selling CRM, ERP, or similar enterprise solutions into banks and financial institutions across India, with experience engaging C-level executives across both IT and business units. Strategic account planning, consultative selling skills, and a passion for customer success are critical to this role.
