Territory Account Executive - Retail & Consumer Goods New
Salesforce is looking for a Territory Account Executive to drive strategic, enterprise-wide sales initiatives within the Retail and Consumer Goods segment in India. You will manage a territory consisting of the largest companies in India, working with a blend of existing clients with expansion opportunities and new prospects. The role demands exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions into enterprise accounts.
Responsibilities include handling the entire sales process with a strong emphasis on new business while expanding existing accounts, territory identification and research to formalize a go-to-market strategy, and pipeline development through cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge. You will engage with prospect organizations through strategic value-based selling, business-case definition, and value analysis, and lead the end-to-end sales process by engaging resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years of enterprise solution sales experience selling CRM, ERP, or similar solutions, with a proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals in the Retail and Consumer Goods segment. Strategic account planning, experience selling to C-level across IT and business units, strong technical competence, and consultative sales skills are highly desired. Accurate forecasting and daily CRM updates are expected.
