Custom Software Engineer New
As a Custom Software Engineer specializing in SAP ABAP Development for HANA, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions, designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems and applications. You are expected to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the team, guiding team decisions and collaborating across multiple teams on key technical decisions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include writing and optimizing ABAP code for HANA environments, providing solutions to complex problems for your immediate team and across other teams, and ensuring project progress stays aligned with business objectives. You will facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to uplift team capabilities and mentor colleagues.
Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA is essential, along with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and database management and optimization techniques. Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 is a plus. You should be comfortable working within agile methodologies and using modern project management tools to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
