Custom Software Engineer New
As a Custom Software Engineer with expertise in Java Enterprise Edition, you will develop custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to build scalable, high-performing solutions.
You are expected to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), taking responsibility for team decisions and engaging with multiple teams to contribute on key technical decisions. Daily activities include coding, testing, debugging, and participating in code reviews while ensuring software aligns with overall architecture and design principles. You will also mentor junior team members and facilitate workshops to gather requirements and stakeholder feedback.
Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition is required, along with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate, and familiarity with agile methodologies. You should have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
