KDNI - Azure Cloud Operations Engineer - Consultant

As an Azure Cloud Operations Engineer, you will manage and maintain applications hosted in the Azure cloud environment, ensuring availability, performance, and security of the cloud infrastructure. Key responsibilities include managing and monitoring Azure cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking services. You will implement and maintain Azure Active Directory services, identity and access management, and RBAC policies. The role involves performing regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration for critical applications and databases. You will monitor system performance and resource utilization, recommending optimizations for cost efficiency and performance. Collaborating with development and DevOps teams, you will deploy, configure, and troubleshoot cloud-based applications and services. You will implement security measures including network security groups, firewalls, and encryption to safeguard data. Additional responsibilities include CI/CD pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps, Terraform scripting for provisioning Azure environments, capacity planning, and maintaining documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes. Experience with Docker containerization and microservices architecture is a plus.
