Assistant Manager - Business Analyst
As an Assistant Manager - Business Analyst, you will review, analyze, and resolve data quality issues across the IM Data Architecture. You will coordinate with data owners and other teams to identify root causes of data quality problems and implement effective solutions.
You will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding of data from various internal and external sources into a central repository. Working closely with Data Owners and their delegates, you will perform data analysis, develop data quality (DQ) rules, and collaborate with IT teams to enhance DQ controls.
The role involves end-to-end analysis of business processes, data flows, and data usage to improve business productivity through re-engineering and data governance. You will interact with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and address data-related needs, and document business requirements and use cases for data-related projects.
You will manage the change control process, participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, and support the implementation of data governance frameworks. Strong domain knowledge of investment banking data is required, along with proficiency in SQL for data analysis and profiling. Experience with BI reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred, and knowledge of Python is a plus.
