Software Applications Test Lead

This Test Lead role in Pune is a senior quality engineering position responsible for leading a team of test engineers and driving the overall testing strategy across product releases. You will define test plans and frameworks covering functional, integration, performance, system, and automation testing, while also establishing scalable CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines and quality gates. The role includes mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, and supporting hiring activities. You will lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and defect management, while coordinating pre- and post-deployment activities including penetration testing and release stabilization. Cross-functional collaboration with development leads, product owners, and cybersecurity teams is central to this position. Experience in Stage-gated NPD processes, Agile/Scrum environments, and DevOps practices is expected, along with hands-on exposure to tools such as Azure DevOps, Postman, and JMeter.
