Product Design Engineer

This Product Design Engineer role in Pune involves working within an innovative product development team focused on the complete lifecycle design of Hazardous Area Electrical Products compliant with ATEX, IECEx, and UL standards. You will generate design concepts based on project and customer requirements, convert ideas into 3D models and prototypes using Creo (or SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis. Responsibilities include preparing detailed engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and managing PLM workflows through Windchill. You will collaborate with technical leads and project managers in cross-functional and cross-regional meetings, and apply engineering fundamentals including DFMEA, DFA, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, and pressure die casting.
