This Assistant Manager Collections role in Mumbai is responsible for managing collection and credit operations for the MAS Business Unit. You will provide monthly collection forecasts at the start of each period with a target accuracy of 75%, follow up continuously with customers to maximize collection efficiency, and manage delinquent AR invoices through direct contact and escalation where necessary. Responsibilities include handling project billing with milestone-based payment terms, updating and resolving disputes in a timely manner, conducting periodic customer account reconciliations, and ensuring correct cash application in Oracle. The role also involves setting and scrutinizing monthly collection targets for the BU, coordinating with sales and operations teams to resolve billing issues, and suggesting legal proceedings for potential defaulters. Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Oracle are key requirements.
