Third Party Risk Manager
As a Third Party Risk Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring third-party risk and performance in alignment with Barclays' Third Party Service Provider Policy and Standards. Your core responsibilities include executing third-party control processes, overseeing supplier performance, and monitoring KPIs to ensure expectations are consistently met.
You will collaborate with diverse global stakeholder groups across functions such as Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and Legal to produce deliverables that meet procurement needs, mitigate third-party risks and issues, and ensure supplier relationships align with the bank's business strategy. Identifying suitable third-party service providers through market research, capabilities analysis, and contract negotiation is a key part of the role.
You will maintain a complete and accurate risk profile of third parties, with early visibility of emerging issues through first-level assurance activities including control issue analysis, root cause identification, and determining appropriate remedial actions. Staying current on industry trends related to third-party management tools and techniques through conferences and training is expected.
The ideal candidate brings experience in supplier management, procurement, contracts, third-party vendor risk management, compliance, or analytics. Advanced knowledge of risk and control frameworks and operational risk policies is essential. Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required to manage senior executive-level relationships across multiple global and virtual teams.
