IT Support Specialist New
As an IT Support Specialist, you will perform a full workload of technical services for IBM employees, taking complete responsibility for customer satisfaction. Your duties include software configuration, device setup, upgrades, reimaging, installation, and software analysis and repair across complex workstations, personal computers, printers, and mobile computing devices. You will diagnose equipment malfunctions accurately and promptly using diagnostics, reference documentation, service aids, tools, and test equipment. Fully documenting all issues in an accurate and timely manner is essential. You will analyze problems related to hardware and software installation, migration, and operational services, and may recommend improvements to processes and procedures used for service delivery. The role requires strong operational knowledge of Windows, Red Hat Linux, Mac OS, and iOS operating systems, along with proficiency in supporting Outlook, MS Office, MS Teams, OneDrive, and Box. You should have knowledge of system configuration, physical and network connectivity, and be an active listener with flexibility to adapt to customer needs.
